It took a while…6 months to be exact…but in the end my listing closed successfully and there’s a happy buyer who got a GREAT deal, and a seller free from a mortgage payment they could no longer afford to carry. Deals like this can come together because there’s a dedicated realtor on the buying side helping their purchaser wait patiently and stay informed, and because there’s a listing agent like me on the other side who will be persistent and assertive while negotiating with the banks.
