Fall Scouting & Market Report
We wish we could tell you that Portland real estate activity weren’t taking it’s cues from the recent unpredictable weather patterns, but the correlation continues to prove strong. The market is just all over the place. Why? Well, we’re most likely transitioning (slowly) from a seller’s market to a balanced market and that has started to cool the previously hot, hot, hot local activity.

Fall Maintenance Reminders...
- Don’t forget clean your gutters before the rain comes. Your dry basement all winter will be plenty thanks.
- Now is a great time to think about getting your chimney cleaned if you plan to cozy up later this fall/winter around the fire.
- After all the dust we had this summer it’s definitely time to look into replacing your furnace air filter.
Scout has been looking at ways to get more involved in the community; somewhere to really donate our time (and money) to a local organization, and there could not be a better fit than at Bradley Angle. A staple in the North Portland community for over 40 years, this organization focuses on "helping survivors escape domestic violence—and rebuild safe and prosperous lives".
It’s also Domestic Violence Awareness Month and they have the following events going on. Look for more involvement/donation opportunities in the very near future. Learn more here in the meantime. Help us make a difference right here in our community.
Join Bradley Angle's Healing Roots Program and nine other community partners for a series of workshops and keynote from Vanessa Timmons, Executive Director of the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
Dine out and support survivors of domestic violence! Participating restaurants are donating a portion of their proceeds on October 25th to Call to Safety, a 24/7 crisis line for support and information.
